Job Title: IoT Operations LeadJob Description As a member of the IoT Operations team based in North Carolina, you will lead multiple IoT scrum teams. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the design and rapid development of smart products and full-stack IoT solutions, from the device level up through cloud architecture and apps. Your role requires influencing diverse scrum team members within our matrix organization, comprising engineers in multiple locations globally. By being well-versed in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies and adapting them to our organizational needs, and utilizing your understanding of the latest IoT technologies, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Responsibilities + Plan, coordinate, and manage the design and rapid development of IoT solutions. + Lead multiple IoT scrum teams in a matrix organization with global engineers. + Influence and guide team members within a scrum framework to ensure project success. + Manage project-level risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions. + Facilitate discussions to achieve agreement amongst scrum teams. + Analyze situations quickly and organize the team around solutions. + Create an environment of mutual influence and understanding. + Maintain and monitor the team's capacity levels and resource needs. + Contribute to the development of performance metrics for scrum planning and execution. Essential Skills + Proven understanding of agile development and continuous deployment practices. + Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies. + Experience with IoT technology development. + Ability to guide and influence scrum team members effectively. + Comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization. + Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver tactful messages. + Ability to nurture the team's understanding of Agile principles and practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Leadership and mentoring experience. + Strategic thinking aligned with organizational goals. + Advanced facilitation skills for large-scale Agile events. + Proficiency in risk management across multiple teams and projects. + Strong stakeholder management skills. + Experience in leading and managing change within an organization. Work Environment The position requires working onsite from Monday to Wednesday, with remote work available on Thursday and Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Apex, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
