Description Education: - High School (Minimum or Equivalent)
- Electrical training or 5 years work experience
Minimum Required Experience - Minimum 2 years of related type field experience with associated training
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Technical experience with industrial electrical and process instrumentation is required, basic electrical knowledge and industrial electrical wiring experience is needed, troubleshooting skills are necessary, moderate computer skills are required, and logic programming skills are desired.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas well pad and processing plant equipment and processes.
- Working as self-directed field worker
Essential Duties & Responsibilities This job is demanding in terms of knowledge, skills, commitment, and all other job-related qualifications. Urgency and pressure for prompt, accurate results are routine. It requires the handling of multiple tasks with many unexpected interruptions. The job calls for the responsiveness and energy to work long hours and cover a wide scope without letting up on the pace. While training in certain, specific equipment is offered, the successful candidate must be diligent in learning on their own from time to time.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.
- Analyze job requirements, schedule and coordinate with customers and contractors, and prepare materials/tools for field installations.
- Install a wide range of equipment: mounting hardware, electrical gear, instrumentation, wiring, junction boxes, flow meters/computers, solar panels/batteries, drives, motors, grid power systems, coolers, and generators.
- Always stay alert and aware of the surroundings.
- Travel daily to/from customer industrial sites.
- Maintain strong mental focus to complete tasks efficiently, safely, and productively.
- Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining composure and quality of work.
- Exercise sound judgment, discretion, and decision-making in field conditions.
- Interact professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, and colleagues at all levels.
- Resolve technical issues while preserving positive relationships with customers, supervisors and co-workers
- Demonstrate high concern for safety, quality, and the impact of your actions.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations consistently and diligently in customer industrial environments
