FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES

Lavado de Platos y Limpieza

• Lavar desinfectar y guardar todos los platos utensilios y cristalería.
• Mantener un área de lavado limpia y organizada durante todo el turno.
• Operar las máquinas de lavado de manera segura e informar cualquier problema.

Apoyo a Cocina y Taproom

• Reponer platos cristalería y utensilios limpios para los equipos de FOH y BOH.
• Asistir con tareas básicas de organización y limpieza de la cocina.
• Retirar la basura desarmar cajas y apoyar con rutinas diarias de limpieza.

Salud y Seguridad

• Seguir todas las normas de saneamiento y seguridad alimentaria.
• Mantener un área de trabajo segura y libre de desorden.
• Completar las tareas de apertura o cierre asignadas.

REQUISITOS DEL PUESTO

Calificaciones

• Sólida ética de trabajo y capacidad para mantenerse enfocado en un entorno de ritmo rápido.
• Capacidad para estar de pie por largos períodos levantar objetos pesados y realizar tareas físicamente exigentes.
• Confiable puntual y capaz de seguir instrucciones consistentemente.
• Capacidad para trabajar bien con otros y comunicarse claramente con el equipo.
• Conocimientos básicos de limpieza y saneamiento (o disposición para aprender).
• Disponibilidad para trabajar noches fines de semana y días festivos.
• Experiencia previa como lavaplatos o en cocina es útil pero no requerida.

JOB DESCRIPTION & EXPECTATIONS

Night Shift Lovejoy Wharf is a lively and welcoming space where we celebrate great beer delicious food and community. As our Dishwasher you play a vital role in keeping our taproom running smoothly and our guests safe and satisfied. You are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dish areas helping ensure that our team has what they need to deliver exceptional hospitality. Your attention to detail work ethic and commitment to a clean organized environment support our mission of honoring tradition and inspired innovation!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dishwashing & Cleaning

• Wash sanitize and store all dishes utensils and glassware.
• Maintain a clean organized dish area throughout the shift.
• Operate dish machines safely and report any issues.

Kitchen & Taproom Support

• Restock clean plates glassware and utensils for FOH and BOH teams.
• Assist with basic kitchen organization and cleanliness tasks.
• Remove trash break down boxes and support daily cleaning routines.

Health & Safety

• Follow all sanitation and food safety standards.
• Maintain a safe clutter-free work environment.
• Complete assigned opening or closing cleaning duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable punctual and able to follow instructions consistently.
• Works well with others and communicates clearly with the tea
• Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation (or willingness to learn).
• Able to work nights weekends and holidays as needed.
• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience helpful but not required.

Night Shift

In a Somerville MA apartment in 2007 when 3 friends began homebrewing beer for friends and family. Their hobby took place after work often stretching late into the night - what they called their night shift. Driven by a passion to craft more interesting and flavorful beers than the commercial options available they turned that hobby into something 2012 Night Shift Brewing officially launched in a small Everett warehouse setting the foundation for what would become a thriving independent brewery.

Today Night Shift Brewing continues to grow fueled by the same commitment to creativity quality and community. With a dedicated team of hardworking staff the company operates a taproom and brewery in Everett a restaurant and brewery at Lovejoy Wharf in Boston and a handful of seasonal Owls Nest beer gardens. Wormtown

Wormtown Brewery started in 2010 on Park Ave in Worcester MA transforming an old ice cream shop into a small brewery. From the beginning the focus was on crafting great beer while staying true to its hometown roots. With strong support from the local community new recipes were created and refined.

Then came Be Hoppya bold West Coast IPA released at the height of the Hazy New England IPA craze. It stood out from the pack and quickly became a fan favorite.

As word spread so did the brewery. What started as a small Worcester operation grew into two taprooms and a brand recognized across New England. But no matter how far the beer travels the mission remains the same: to craft high-quality beer that brings people together with a smile one pint at a time.
